Project SUKOON
Creating Space for Mental Well-being
Supporting Mental Health, One Conversation at a Time
Project Sukoon is Kashmiriyat Foundation’s mental health and psychosocial well-being initiative dedicated to promoting emotional wellness among students, parents, youth, women, and communities across Jammu & Kashmir.
Through awareness sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions, the project addresses important topics such as stress, anxiety, depression, bullying, emotional well-being, and healthy coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment.
By encouraging open conversations and reducing stigma, Project Sukoon empowers individuals to prioritise their mental health, seek support when needed, and build stronger, healthier communities.
What We Focus On
Project Sukoon promotes mental health awareness and emotional well-being by creating safe spaces for learning, conversation, and support. Through education and community engagement, we aim to help individuals build resilience and seek help without fear or stigma.
Mental Health Awareness
Promoting understanding of mental health, emotional well-being, and the importance of caring for our minds just as we care for our physical health.
Stress & Anxiety Management
Helping individuals recognise, understand, and manage stress and anxiety through awareness, practical guidance, and healthy coping techniques.
Breaking Stigma
Encouraging open conversations that reduce misconceptions about mental health and create supportive, judgment-free communities.
Emotional Resilience
Building confidence, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and positive coping skills that help people navigate life’s challenges.
School & Community Outreach
Conducting awareness sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions for students, parents, teachers, youth, women, and community members.
Support & Help-Seeking
Encouraging individuals to seek support when needed and promoting awareness of available mental health resources and professional guidance.
Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.
